During construction ahead of the building opening for business in 2014, two way radios supplied by ourselves had a key role to play in its development.

Brentwood is proud to have played its part breathing new life into one of London’s most famous buildings by supplying two way radio support for a wide range of uses across the site.

Opened in July 2014, during construction developers hired a fleet of Motorola MotoTRBO digital two way radios from Brentwood to assist with coordination and safety management on the project.

Brentwood were delighted to supply radios during the construction of the prominent Thames-side building in the South Bank area of London.

Completed in 2003, construction was supported by a two way radio system supplied and installed by Brentwood Communications.

At 62 storeys and standing at 278m tall, maintaining robust, reliable lines of communication throughout the structure is both challenging and essential.

Towering over the Thames at a height of 310 metres, The Shard is the tallest completed building in the UK.
