The  revamped DP2000e series further confirms Motorola’s pivotal role in driving the future of digital two way radio forward. Building on the success of the DP2400 handset, the DP2400e once again breaks new ground with better audio, better coverage and more features.

A non-display radio featuring a 16 channel capacity, 3 programmable buttons and available on UHF & VHF frequencies, the DP2400e can operate on both analogue and on Motorola’s MOTOTRBO digital system. Compared to the previous model, the DP2400e boasts 16 per cent better signal coverage and, like the rest of the revamped MOTOTRBO range, benefits from up to 29 hours battery life with the innovative IMPRES smart energy system.

With an improved IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, the Motorola DP2400e digital radio is perfectly suited to harsh environments such as construction and manufacturing, where day in, day out durability is a must. It is also available in a TIA4950 certified HazLoc version.

The cutting edge IMPRES audio system provides consistent sound quality in all environments, with SINC+ advanced noise cancellation making sure the message can be heard loud and clear regardless of background noise. It also features intelligent audio, meaning the volume automatically adjusts to compensate for background noise.

This radio features Lone Worker as standard ensuring staff are monitored at all times. The ability to make and receive private and group calls means you can communicate with radio users without disturbing others, while non-verbal communications are available in the form of pre-programmable text messages, which are sent with the push of a button. There is also a vibrating belt clip option alerting the wearer to a call or text discreetly.
