THE WOODLANDS SCHOOL

Since 2011, Brentwood has supplied the Woodlands School with two way radios for use by their office, teaching and grounds staff.

In 2014, the premises underwent a £26 million overhaul. The knock-on effect was drastic changes in the communications setup, and the existing radio coverage just wasn't enough.

Brentwood's team of skilled engineers concluded that the new building was causing more interference to radio signals – probably because of the increased use of materials like steel in the new construction. The school agreed that it was time for an upgrade to a more powerful two way radio that could overcome all the new signal obstacles created by the revamped building. After discussing the options available, school management settled on the Lugra Evoke.

The Evoke offers a simple, robust communication system, with a much more powerful output than the previous radios. As part of the sale, the schools existing radios were part exchanged by Brentwood. The result was higher powered communications, without a large cost involved.
